Sterilisation of products within the healthcare, food, pharmaceutical and electronic sectors using irradiation as the primary energy source raises many questions. Our aim was to educate readers of the benefits of this process and alleviate their fears regarding the short and long term impact on the environment. A clear flowing environmental concept linked with a timeline for Cobalt 60 projected a strong message. The 92 page document was structured in line with current ‘best practice’ of Overview, Business Review, Governance and Financial Statements which combined with a vertical key and stock changes gave excellent navigation.
